ROLE PURPOSE:

We are looking for a skilled and commercially-minded Data Insights Lead to join our Digital team at our Head Office in Richmond. This critical role will be responsible for transforming data into clear, actionable insights that shape decision-making across the business – from digital performance to customer behaviour and trading strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from digital platforms to uncover trends, performance drivers, and commercial opportunities.

• Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports using tools such as GA4, Looker, Shopify Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.

• Collaborate with Performance Marketing, CRO, and E-Commerce Trading teams to provide insights that optimise acquisition, conversion, and customer engagement.

• Partner with key stakeholders across the business – including Marketing, Creative, Product and Customer Services – to support strategic planning through robust data insight.

• Champion a data-led approach across the business, presenting insights in a clear, visual, and engaging manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Analyse customer behaviour, segmentation, and lifecycle trends to identify areas for growth, retention, and personalisation.

• Monitor trading performance, helping to identify drivers of success and highlighting any risks or underperformance.

• Ensure data integrity and reliability by working closely with technical teams on tracking, tagging, and measurement frameworks.

• Continuously improve our data capability by identifying gaps, recommending tools, and implementing best practices.

• Keep abreast of developments in digital analytics, data science, and customer insight.

• Provide training and support to internal teams to foster a culture of self-service insight and confident decision-making.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 3–5 years’ experience in a digital analytics, insights, or data-focused role, ideally within a retail, e-commerce or consumer brand environment.

• Strong command of tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Looker, Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

• Demonstrable experience turning data into commercially-relevant insights and strategic recommendations.

• Confident working across functions and collaborating with technical, creative, and commercial teams.

• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills – able to make data meaningful for stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

• Working knowledge of SQL and/or basic understanding of Python or R would be advantageous.

• Experience with customer segmentation, LTV modelling, or cohort analysis is a plus.

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
